About the Speaker:

Derek Belch is the co-founder and CEO of Strivr. The original idea came to him while he was pursuing his third Masters degree at Stanford University, this one in Virtual Reality. Working as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Stanford Cardinals football team, he realized the incredible potential of combining virtual reality and the science of learning, in both sports and beyond. He approached his advisor, Jeremy Bailenson of Stanford’s Virtual Human Interaction Lab, who has spent several decades exploring the powerful potential of VR and its effects on the brain, and together they founded Strivr.
